The Floating Logs of Spirit Lake
Remnants of fallen trees are scattered across the landscape of Mount St. Helens, but Spirit Lake holds thousands more. As you look into the water, you can see the wind slowly moving the logs from one side of the lake to the other. Spirit Lake leaves an erie reminder of the natural destruction that followed the eruption of Mount St. Helens.
