For The Love of Harry & Eddie
As we took in the 360 degree beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes, my heart strings began to pull. I couldn’t stop thinking about Harry (a man who refused to leave Spirit Lake and Mount St. Helens before the eruption) and his love for his wife, Eddie, that had died years prior to the eruption. He built a beautiful life with Eddie at Spirit Lake, and there was no other place in the world that he rather have been. As I stood next to the love of my life, I began to feel the same way Harry did. I never wanted to leave that moment. My heart will always be at Mount St. Helens, along with Harry & Eddie.
